Ref. Std. EIA RS 485 KPE Insulated, Individual And General Screen Data Cables |
Application
This sort of cables are used as signal and transmission cables in the electronical control systems and also in the transmission of voice frequency. Their halogen-free counterparts are distinguished with flame retarding and low smoke features. |
Construction
1. | Inner Conductor | Electrolytic twisted tin-plated copper wire (EN 60228, Class 2/5) |
2. | Insulation | Foam-Skin PE (EN 50290-2-23) |
3. | Pair Screen | The cable cores insulated as per Table 1 are twisted in pair, twisted pair cores are fixed with PES tape, They are screened with both multiple tinned drain wire and also with %100 covered AL-PES tape |
4. | Lay-Up | Screened pairs are bend in layers and fixed with PES tape. |
5. | Overall Screen | They are screened with multiple, tinned drain wire and %100 covered AL-PES tape. |
6. | Outer Sheath | PVC (EN 50290-2-22) HFFR (EN 50290-2-27), RAL 7032, GreyHFFR (EN 50290-2-27), RAL 7032, Grey |
