Ref. Std. EIA RS 485 KPE Insulated, General Screen Data Cables |
Application
This sort of cables are used as signal and transmission cables in the electronical control systems and also in the transmission of voice frequency. Their halogen-free counterparts are distinguished with flame retarding and low smoke features. |
Construction
1. | Inner Conductor | Electrolytic twisted tin-plated copper wire (EN 60228, Class 2/5) |
2. | Insulation | Foam-Skin PE (EN 50290-2-23) |
3. | Lay-Up | Cable cores which are isolated with respect to the table 1, are twisted in pairs following that, those pairs are twisted in layers and at the end, they are fixed with pes-tape |
4. | Overall Screen | They are screened with 100% coverage multiple tin-copper drain wire AL-PES tape |
5. | Outer Sheath | PVC (EN 50290-2-22), HFFR (EN 50290-2-27), RAL 7032, GreyHFFR (EN 50290-2-27), RAL 7032, Grey |
