Application
Such cables are used for external local underground networks and suspension wire air line telephone and signal distribution cables |
Construction
1. | Inner Conductor | Electrolytic mono annealed copper, (TS EN 60228, Class 1) |
2. | Insulation | Foam (KP) or Solid (P) Polyethylene, (TS3930, BS 6234 03 C) 2258 TS Cable colors to be appropriate.(Table 1) |
3. | Lay-Up | Twisting is performed for star quadruple (D) twisted cores as star-quadruples up to 10 pairs, or 5 quadruples (1) group after 10 pairs or 10 group twisting (1) package and fixed with moisture free PES tape with dielectric feature. The groups and packages are tagged with color threads. |
4. | Screen | Both sides PE film coated Aleminium(A) foil |
5. | Suspension wire | Twisted galvanized steel suspension wire (-A) |
6. | Outer Sheath | Low (LD) or middle (MD) density Polythene (ASTM D 1248); RAL 9005 Black HFFR (TS EN 50290-2-27) RAL 7001 Grey |
